It’s the time of year for giving and after the year we’ve had, sharing a little love is more important than ever. So often though, there’s a hidden dark side to our well-meant gifts, the pain and suffering of animals killed to make them, the animal testing to determine if they are fit for human use, and the environmental destruction that comes from the mass production.
With this in mind, for our December campaign, we’re asking everyone to think about the animals while shopping this Christmas, whether that is buying vegan treats for the dinner table, hiding beauty products that haven’t been tested on animals under the tree or even giving a donation to an animal charity.
The compassionate shopping guide
It can be hard to know where to shop and what to buy when trying to be ethical. The compassionate shopping guide only includes brands that have no ties to animal testing. That means that the individual products are not tested on animals and the parent companies do not endorse or own any companies that do. It is the place to go for animal-friendly finds and one of the best ways to show your support for animals this Christmas. Download it here: Compassionate shopping guide.
