Animals forced to perform in circuses live a life of cruelty. They are kept in unnatural, cramped conditions, are often beaten and punished and suffer from physical and mental problems.
In 2017, the states of New York and Illinois took a stand, choosing to ban the use of elephants in circuses. It is a significant step forward and one that the rest of America and the world should follow. But, there is still more to do to free other exotic animals that are confined to cages and forced to perform for profit.
There is hope, but the animals need your help. The Circus Bill is under revision to include all exotic animals, including lions, tigers and bears. If accepted that means no circus with exotic animals will be able to operate in the State of New Jersey. Sign the petition and show your support now.
